Since 1998, Sbi has worked with customers as a trusted advisor to design, implement, and operate the IT infrastucture,services and networks required for the expansion and growth of  operations within and outside of Bermuda including XL  Capital, Partner Re, Axis, Montpelier, Endurance, Allianz Risk Transfer, Citadel, PX Re, Starr, AWAC, Validus, Lancashire and Ironshore.

For many companies, using the same IT provider who built the Bermuda infrastructure to build overseas data centers reduced the costs and overall risk, and increased the speed of deployment as there was already a well understood blueprint for the overall IT architecture and operation, and standards and documentation became more streamlined for audit and compliance. 

Often it was the same Sbi team who built the Bermuda data center who worked with the customer overseas installing their new data centers. Corporate discounts negotiated by Sbi from Cisco, Juniper, Citrix, and Microsoft for Bermuda operations could be leveraged for new customer offices further increasing customer savings.   Deployment of single desktop images, asset management and tracking of hardware, software, contracts, serial numbers etc becomes much more manageable and efficient as it is managed by a single source provider.

Many companies have also taken advantage of Sbi's status as a Microsoft Enterprise Software Advisor to  consolidate their Microsoft licensing in Bermuda, reducing complexity of multiple purchases into a single three year  contract without any associated Sales tax or VAT incurred and further simplifying asset management.
